BALTIMORE, MD -- Zarren Law Group, LLC (ZLG) announced today that James McLaughlin has joined its team as Counsel.

With close to two decades of transactional expertise in his career at both law firms and as in-house counsel, James’ practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital transactions, as well as capital raises, securities law compliance, and corporate governance matters. James’ experience and approach to problem solving will add further value to ZLG’s clients and other business partners.

James advises clients across a broad range of industries, including technology and software, e-commerce, manufacturing, energy, aerospace and defense, automotive, engineering, utilities, and financial services, among others.

James comes to ZLG from Murtha Cullina LLP and DarrowEverett LLP, where he was a partner who focused on mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. James has also previously served as in-house counsel at Datto, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based solutions.

James received a Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University.
