Heith Rodman

Heith is an experienced corporate and commercial attorney who is focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, capital markets, securities compliance, and other general corporate and commercial matters.

He previously was a Partner at the prominent international law firm, Jones Day, where he rose through the ranks from a first-year associate.  Heith also served a Senior Vice President at Berkley Transactional, a division of Berkley Professional Liability (part of the W.R. Berkley corporate family), where he underwrote transactional risk insurance for M&A transactions, helped establish underwriting guidelines, and consulted on claims resolutions.  Throughout his career, Heith’s practice has focused on advising large public corporations and private companies on M&A transactions (including cross-border), capital markets, corporate governance and executive compensation, as well as complex commercial and technology matters, for a variety of industries, including heavy industrial, media, medical devices, financial technology, and banking. 

Heith obtained his Juris Doctor, cum laude, and Master of Business Administration from Emory University and received Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and in Government & Politics from the University of Maryland.  

Heith grew up in Baltimore, Maryland (spending summers in Ocean City, Maryland), and resides in the Atlanta, Georgia area, with his wife and three children. An avid lacrosse fan, Heith still plays full-field, full-contact lacrosse year-round, including with travel teams. Heith is a member of the State Bar of Georgia.
